After graduation at KCP, Orlando Ardila, Class of 2009, completed his Bachelor of Science in Business at Georgetown University.  He currently is the CEO of startup Veabor LLC., a travel and booking app that has had more than 200.000 downloads and has recently partnered with Priceline.com, an affiliate of online travel services giant Booking Holdings Inc.!  We asked Orlando to tell us about Veabor and about his years in KCP and how they have impacted his life. This is what he told us:

Tell us a little about your career and business, and why it is innovating.

Our company created the first and only platform that allows users to plan and book travel together. Our main goal is to enhance the experience of travelers at every stage of a trip by developing features that implement innovative methods of collaboration between users. Veabor’s partnerships with companies that are leaders in the Travel and Technology industries guarantee the best products and services for our customers.

Looking back, what are some of your best memories or experiences from KCP? How has your KCP experience impacted your life today?

I graduated with many unforgettable memories that were the result of numerous experiences during my time as a student at KCP. The KCP experience has impacted my life today in many ways. Initially, KCP’s curriculum and American teaching methodology successfully prepared me for college in the US. The school’s emphasis on the development of individual personalities and skills contributed directly to my academic experience in college and to my personal growth. Finally, KCP’s strong sense of community resulted in friendships that have lasted well beyond my school years and therefore continue to be important today.
