Jaime Pumarejo, Class of 1999

Jaime Pumarejo, Class of 1999, is the new mayor-elect of Barranquilla 2020-2023!

 

After graduation at KCP,  Jaime received his BS in Management from Purdue University and then his Masters in Finance from the Instituto de Empresas, in Madrid, Spain. After working in Ingersoll Rand, where he was selected in their Leadership Development Program, he returned to our city where he has worked as a consultant of competitiveness and business affairs and has served several public offices including Secretary of Transit, Minister of Housing for Colombia and City Development Manager for Barranquilla.

 

Senior Roberto García interviewed class of 1999 Mayor-Elect Jaime Pumarejo to find out why he is Proud to be KCP, and how our school has had a great impact on his life and professional success.
