STAFF BENEFITS!
Staff Development program: KCP provides constant support to attend workshops and trainings according to the different needs and after 1 year of being hired, also supports with financial aid for further studies such as Masters Degrees, specialized studies or PhDs among others.
Gym agreement: Thinking about promoting good lifestyle habits, we have recently set an agreement with one of the best gyms in the city, Spinning Center, to provide special fees for our staff.
Time for yourself: During the school year, there are several holidays celebrated in Colombia that certainly allow you the possibility of enjoying extra time for personal activities or even traveling! Besides that, KCP offers 2 personal days and a full week off during the Holy Week.

COME TO BARRANQUILLA
Barranquilla is located on the western bank of the Magdalena River, a few kilometers from it’s mouth in the Caribbean Sea. Its 154 territorial kilometers are home to more than one million inhabitants who are characterized by the spontaneity and joy of the Caribbean people. In addition, Barranquilla enjoys being a city surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, such as Bocas de Ceniza and Puerto Colombia with its historic dock and its beaches.
The climate in Barranquilla is tropical dry, that is, corresponding to vegetation typical of dryness and high temperatures. The average temperature is 28 degrees Celsius, however, in summer it’s usual to rise to 32 degrees Celsius.

A strong expat community
A long history of a strong group of foreign teachers, Principals and Director, has maintained the culture within our institution, characterizing us as the only school with an American tradition in the city. Currently we have 23 teachers, 2 Principals and 1 Director (all foreign hires) who highly support each other until each of them become a real “barranquillero”.
