Mr. Joseph Levno – Director
Mr. Joseph Levno has ten years of professional teaching experience in California public schools, an additional nine years’ international school experience at Brent International School Manila (5 years as an administrator), two years as a freelance consultant – including working for IBO as a New Service Design Manager, three years as the Secondary School Principal at the American International School in Egypt-West, one year as Secondary School Principal at Colegio Karl C. Parrish and is now the Director at KCP. He feels he has been blessed as an educational leader!
Believing in establishing an empowered community of learners requires respect for differences, global-mindedness, positive expectations for all and ethical standards. He has moved from being a teacher-leader to a school administrator while holding true to those values in an effort to establish a collaborative atmosphere at Brent. Initiatives that he has been directly involved in include: UbD Curriculum Development on Atlas Rubicon (and feedback on such); Common Formative Assessments Book Study; and, developing and implementing Teacher Supervision and Feedback systems.

Kristine Stamp- Jerabek – Secondary School Principal
Mrs. Kristine Stamp-Jerabek has a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of North Texas. She also possesses a teacher’s and principal’s license from the state of Texas. Mrs. Stamp-Jerabek began her career as a secondary English Teacher and has taught in the USA, Bulgaria, and Taiwan. Most recently, Mrs. Jerabek served as the Academic Head and High School Principal at Korea International School, Jeju. There, she was a founding member of the leadership team and was responsible for all academic programs, teacher professional development, and teacher recruitment.
Jared Tabita – Preschool and Elementary School Principal
Mr. Tabita’s career has spanned the globe. He has held leadership roles in Preschools and Elementary schools as a principal, vice-principal, and curriculum leader in India, Turkey, and Kazakhstan, over the last ten years, and is now happy to be living in beautiful Barranquilla. Before he became an administrator, he spent six years as a second-grade teacher in Phoenix, Arizona, and is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied teaching, curriculum, and educational leadership at the University of Pittsburgh and Arizona State University. Mr. Tabita is married with two young daughters who will both be attending KCP’s preschool. It is an honor and a pleasure for him to be a part of the KCP community.
Pamela Zipper – Director for Teaching and Learning
Ms. Zipper is a National Board Certified Educator with eighteen years of experience. This year she is moving into the role of Director for Teaching and Learning. She has a strong background in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, and Pedagogy.
Previously, she spent fourteen years in the classroom as a Secondary Science Teacher. More recently, she was the Blended Learning Instructional Coach at KCP. She has extensive experience with designing professional development workshops, coaching teachers, flipped classroom methods, and blended learning.
She is a Google Certified Educator and is also well versed in the AdvancED accreditation process. She is currently working on her Educational Leadership degree and will complete it in summer 2020.
Ms. Zipper is passionately committed to supporting, engaging, student-centered learning activities, and helping teachers leverage technology to differentiate instruction and connect students with authentic audiences and problems.
Patricia Galdames – Preschool and Elementary Vice-Principal
This is Ms. Galdames’s first year as Vice Principal at KCP, but she has taught 1st grade for seven years at our School. Before coming to KCP, she taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade in Naples, Fl for six years; where she was also the Response to Intervention Coach for a year. She has an Associate’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Elementary Education, with a minor in Psychology. She also earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, emphasis in Reading, at Florida Gulf Coast University. She is now pursuing a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from St. Leo University.
Eny Vanegas – Secondary School Dean of Students
Ms. Eny Vanegas is a Psychologist from Universidad del Norte, with 27 years of experience working at KCP as an assistant, counselor, and psychologist for Preschool, Elementary, Middle and High School. She was certified by the Tri Association Conferences of Schools and Colleges in Central America, the Caribbean, and Mexico, has a certificate in Advanced Diagnosis in Learning Disabilities (O.M.N.I.) from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, was certified as a CHARACTER COUNTS Trainer, Chicago, Illinois, and participated in the Red Bird Blended Learning workshops and the Innovative Schools Summit 2019, Atlanta, Georgia.
