As parents, we are the biggest influence on our children. One day, I found myself thinking about how to teach my daughters about the value of gratitude. It is one of my main purposes as a mother, to teach them values that will then influence their life as adults. ” Make a Wish” is the story of a little bird called Emma, who compares herself with her friend Frank, and with all the material things he has in his life. Her mother then teaches her that the things that she should value the most, are not material things but love, health, and family.

How has your KCP experience impacted your life and the choices you have made in your career?

At KCP we were always invited to explore ourselves as individuals and to focus on our strengths, no matter what. The staff was so nice and supportive, I will never forget that. KCP was especially fun, and a nice place to grow up in. I remember that I loved going to the library. My class, (SENIORS 98), is very close to my heart. They are such a nice group of people, always caring for each other, and so fun to be with.

What makes you proud to be a member of the KCP community?

I feel proud to be part of a great community such as KCP.
