He has been part of multiple successful exits in the technology space, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Keyhole (Google Maps) &#8211; Board of Advisors &#8211; Sold to Google 10\/04<br \/>\n\u25cf Synchronoss Technologies &#8211; CMO &amp; EVP Business Development; IPO (6\/06) led by Goldman Sachs<br \/>\n&amp; Deutsche Bank becoming the best software IPO of that year<br \/>\n\u25cf TENOR GIF Keyboard &#8211; Board of Directors &#8211; Sold to Google (3\/18)<br \/>\n\u25cf Moovit &#8211; Founding President and Board of Directors &#8211; Funded by Sequoia Capital, Sold to Intel<br \/>\n(5\/20)<br \/>\n\u25cf Niantic &#8211; Executive Leadership Team<\/p>\n<p>He has been quoted and published in a variety of technology business, and media publications<br \/>\nincluding Business Week, Forbes, TechCrunch (Regular Contributor), Washington Post and<br \/>\nSemana\/Dinero among others.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. T\u00e9llez was a founding member and Chair of The Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working<br \/>\nGroup (M3AAWG), the world\u2019s most influential cybersecurity organization. Currently, he is the Chairman<br \/>\nEmeritus of this organization.<\/p>\n<p>He is a regular presenter and moderator at leading industry events such as the Consumer Electronics Show<br \/>\n(CES), the Mobile World Congress (MWC-Barcelona) and the Rutberg &amp; Co. Wireless Influencers<br \/>\nConference.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. T\u00e9llez holds a Master in Business Administration with High Honors from the Walter A. Haas School of<br \/>\nBusiness, University of California at Berkeley (1996) and a Bachelor in Science in Industrial Engineering from<br \/>\nUniversidad de Los Andes (1991).<\/p>\n<p>He currently serves as Alto Consejero Tecnolog\u00eda y Emprendimiento (ad honorem) to Barranquilla\u2019s<br \/>\nMayor, Jaime A. Pumarejo, and as an advisor to the Secretary of Communications of the Republic of<br \/>\nColombia.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s an active investor in Technology startup companies which include among others YourParade.com<br \/>\nand Boards.<\/p>\n<p>After living in California for over fifteen years, Mr. T\u00e9llez moved to the East Coast. He settled in Princeton,<br \/>\nNJ with his wife Yamile Slebi and their three children Camila, Isabel, and Manuel.
