We want to give a massive shout-out to Tomas Vera Gutierrez de Piñeres, KCP Class of 2004, and his company Verdi, on being recognized as Artisanal Project of the Year in this year’s edition of the Latin American Fashion Awards that took place in Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic. This event’s main focus is to celebrate and promote the most outstanding Latin American Talent in the world and honor the cultural heritage of our region.
Verdi is a Colombian textile studio celebrating tradition to create unique homeware, fashion, and art pieces by intertwining natural fibers with contemporary materials. It has been featured in Architectural Digest, Vogue Mexico, Forbes Colombia, and Surface Mag, to mention a few.
