With an outstanding career spanning the financial and technology sectors, Juan Carlos Guillermety, KCP Class of 1997, has built a distinguished trajectory marked by leadership, innovation, and regional impact. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles at globally recognized companies such as Visa and Nubank, where he played a key role in advancing digital financial services and driving large-scale technological transformation.

He currently serves as CEO of SPIN, where he leads the company’s strategic vision, fostering innovation and accelerating the expansion of digital solutions across Mexico. Under his leadership, SPIN continues to strengthen its position in the digital ecosystem, delivering scalable, technology-driven solutions that support financial inclusion and business growth.

Juan Carlos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes and Purdue University, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has further complemented his academic background with executive education programs at both the Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Business School, with a focus on strategic alliances, corporate strategy, and sales alignment.

His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to technological transformation, leadership excellence, and the development of the fintech ecosystem across Latin America.
