When parents send their children to KCP they have chosen to immerse them in a leadership-oriented environment in a unique School with a long tradition of excellence in academic and personal development. Expectations are high as parents and faculty work in partnership to develop each child’s fullest potential. KCP parents have many opportunities to be involved in their children’s education in meaningful ways:
At Home
Online portals give them a comprehensive picture of their child’s progress as well as information about extracurricular activities, athletics and special events.
At School
Parent meetings help establish agreements and ensure effective follow-up.
In the Community
Community service activities attract volunteers interested in helping students address the needs and problems of the underprivileged.
The Parent-Teacher Association
We are all committed to our children education
The Parent Council is made up of parents that represent each grade, who meet periodically with the School’s administrative team. A new Council is created each School year to allow maximum opportunities of participation.
The Parent Council:
1. Supports school activities.
2. Operates the School Store, which sells PE uniforms, notebooks, erasers and similar items.
3. Sponsors community-building activities such as Parent Conferences, Teacher Appreciation Day, sports festivals and other events.
4. Helps staff with various activities throughout the year.
