Multiple opportunities for developing and sharing talent and expressing creativity
The Arts are an important part of every person’s development and KCP excels in providing opportunities for students to shine. Concerts, presentations, exhibits, and shows of all sorts take place each year and allow students to showcase their talent for a larger audience.
In the classroom, teachers often incorporate dramatic productions or art activities related to topics under study. KCP is truly committed to sharing the transformative power and the pure enjoyment of the arts with students of all ages and their families.
Dance
More than just dancing, Creative Movement is a class where students extend their natural capacity for imitation, enabling them to immerse themselves in movement, accompanying poems, stories, and songs.
Knowledge and skill are developed indirectly and ‘corrected’ via engagement through imagination. Creative and rhythmical movements are integrated into many of the day’s activities.
Performing Arts
Dramatizations and the occasional musical theater performance allow students to develop creative abilities, stage presence, teamwork, and public performance skills all crucial abilities needed for their future as 21st Century leaders. Students get the chance to exercise their individual talents, while celebrating their passion and dedication for the Arts.
Combining acting, singing, dancing, and production roles, and with the knowledgeable guidance of teachers, KCP students can enjoy a true theatrical experience in state-of-the-art facilities.
Visual Arts
Our Visual Arts program builds minds that observe, wonder, imagine, and create. Through collaboration, creativity, and innovation, critical and divergent thinking skills are also developed and contribute to creating lifelong learners through participation in exciting, real-world projects.
